Killing Joke - Live Toulouse 15/04/12

I never thought I'd ever be able to say I like a Killing Joke album more than their first, but with 2012 I think they've done it. Pure perfection.

Here is a live gig from a couple of weeks ago. Cheers to John G for finding this for me, as always, much appreciated mate.

Killing Joke - Radio 1 Rock Show Session (2003)

Continuing the Killing Joke theme.......

A radio 1 rock show session broadcast on the 20th August 2003, hosted by Daniel P Carter, that has not seen a commercial release. I've spotted this being listed as 2004, but sifting through the radio 1 rock show listings it's definitely 2003. It contains 4 tracks all reworked for the rock show: -

1. Requiem.
2. Seeing Red.
3 The Fall of Because.
4. Total Invasion.

While all the versions contain a new weight and darkness about them it's the fall of because that resonates most. The original version, albeit very good, is thin and tinny in its production; however this one is simply staggering in it's power & depth.

Music

Killing Joke - MMXII

This is the best KJ album in years, imo it beats Aboslute Dissent ...and that's hard to beat. You need to buy this and support the band....£7.99, cheap as chips!

The first single off the album with a stunning video. Play it in full screen mode!!

A you tube album sampler.....

A new tour announced later in the year with The Cult and The Mission.

Killing Joke - Jana (1994)

CD single from 1994 and long since deleted. It contains a great live version of Love Like Blood.

Link removed as, although this cd is deleted, the song Jana is still available via MP3 download on Amazon. Sorry if you missed it.

Killing Joke

Their new album is released in a few days and it's the first album with the original line up since the early 80's. I've heard a couple of tracks off it and it's really good. I Can't wait....it's released on my birthday as well...nice pressie for me.
